Sanskrit Week
Sanskrit Week was celebrated at Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane from 19
August 2019 to 23 August 2019. There was an amazing Sanskrit assembly and Sanskrit
Exhibition held during this week. Sanskrit being an ancient language in India, the school
tries to inculcate interest among students in Sanskrit. For this, the Sanskrit Week is
celebrated every year.
The Sanskrit assembly was held in school on 19 August 2019. It was very informative and
emphasized on the importance of Sanskrit. It had a fantabulous dance, melodious song, quiz
and a student talk. In the presence of the Principal, Vice Principal, Headmistress,
Coordinators, teachers and students, the assembly was conducted.
The Sanskrit Exhibition was held on 21 August 2019. It was also a great success. There was
a ribbon cutting ceremony which was done by the Principal, Mr Alok Katdare. Many
students were part of the exhibition and helped the teachers efficiently. The exhibition had
many games, quizzes, information on different names of flowers, fruits, vegetables in Sanskrit.
There were many charts and models made by the students under the guidance of Sanskrit
teachers. All the events were well organised and efficiently conducted. Such events motivate
students for participation and make learning of the subject easy. Finally, the purpose of
creating importance of Sanskrit was well achieved.
