The performance of the school choir and the tinkering of the anklets interspersed with the
musical beats created the perfect environment for the exhibition to be a grand success. The
exhibition began with the Hindi skit; traditionally dressed zestful children yelling the slogan
of Save the Earth- “Prithivi ki suraksha hamari zimedari hain.” The Head Boy and Head Girl
welcomed the guests with beautiful bouquets and this marked the beginning of the dance,
drama and music events.
An English skit was presented on a unique topic in which the students depicted all the
planets. Just one walk around the school premises and one could see the hub of activity
where all the students were busy explaining their models and charts to the inquisitive
parents. The curiosity to gain information from the student-made models was accompanied
by the traditional dances performed by primary students in scintillating traditional dresses
moving gracefully to traditional music. Their well-coordinated, beautifully synchronised and
brilliantly choreographed movements were mesmerising and capturing. All the dances
captured the essence of the fact that mother Earth is an inspiration and how damage to her
must be avoided at all costs. To spread this awareness, the slogan “Kingdom of God is the
Earth” was raised.
