The assembly comprised of inspirational speeches in English, Marathi and Hindi followed by

a song composed by one of the students and sung by the school choir. Thereafter the school
band performed an instrumental patriotic mash up followed by a skit based on the
indispensable contribution of the famous martyr trio of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru

and their possible views of modern India. The spirit of nationalism was furthermore

enhanced by a marvelous dance performance dedicated to wing commander Abhinandan
followed by a motivational talk by the Head Boy, Soham Dharia.

The Principal, Mr Alok Katdare and Head of Administration, Mr Radhakrishnan Mattiyil

in their addresses recalled the supreme sacrifices of the heroes of freedom struggle and also
the Gandhian way to celebrate this day by striving hard to build a new better and strong
India. The celebration concluded with a pledge on “Swachh Bharat” and singing of the

national song.
