THE CLEANLINESS DRIVE
Various activities were conducted in Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane from 1
September 2019 to 15 September 2019 to mark the Swachchata Pakhwada –The Cleanliness
Drive with an intense focus on the practices of Swachhata.
Swachhta Pledge was taken by the students to remain committed towards cleanliness and
keep their surroundings clean.
One of the initiatives was reaching out to the entire school community through the
“Swachhata Awareness Drive” with the theme Jungle Safari, where the young students
dressed up as animals visited the classrooms and talked about the importance of waste
management, segregation of dry and wet waste as well as the perks of reusing and reducing.
The students of Pre-primary celebrated ‘Hand Wash Day’ and the importance of washing
hands was aptly reinforced with the help of several meaningful activities using action rhymes
and flash cards.
