TALK ON HIGHER EDUCATION

Parneet Shergill (Assistant Director – Outreach, Ashoka University) conducted a talk on

higher education for the students of classes 11 and 12 and their parents. The session focused
on providing liberal education to help students become well-rounded individuals who can

think critically about issues from multiple perspectives as well as communicate effectively.

The speaker highlighted Ashoka University’s strong emphasis on foundational knowledge,
thorough academic research based on rigorous pedagogy and hands-on experience with
real-world challenges. The diverse group of students on campus experience an

interdisciplinary education through undergraduate and post-graduate programmes led by

internationally renowned faculty.

The speaker also helped with the information regarding various courses, admission

requirements, timelines for applying and financial aid. The session wrapped up with a
question-and-answer interaction.
