CBSE-INTEL AI-THON : AI READINESS WORKSHOP

CBSE in collaboration with Intel, had organised several AI-thons: AI readiness workshops

for students at various locations throughout the country. A three-day workshop was

conducted at Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane from 4 February 2020 to 6
February 2020 to develop the students into an AI ready person and give an edge towards the

developments of the world through artificial intelligence. 44 students from 20 schools in and

around Navi Mumbai participated in this workshop. These full day workshops targeted to

introduce the students to the basics of AI and to take them through the complete journey of

converting ideas to projects. The key objective of these AI-thons was to enable and empower
students with AI skills and use these dexterities to find solutions to the problems faced by the

community; related to climate change, food, security, health and sanitation. The workshop

emphasised on the need of growing into a person that could heighten the opportunities for
the current generation and gave them an even greater edge on the road to becoming AI

ready. The workshop edified students by augmenting their thinking capabilities to a greater

height and endowed them with the basic knowledge of artificial intelligence that they were

to enhance and practice to make their daily activities efficient and competent.
