To make the students understand the importance of personal hygiene, a doctor’s talk was

organised for the students. Dr Mauli Saxena was invited as the guest speaker. She spoke
extensively on the importance of personal hygiene and cleanliness. She also emphasised that

maintaining good personal hygiene is the first step to good health. The session was quite
informative and provided a lot of insight into the personal hygiene.

“A sapling sown today becomes a tree tomorrow. Values inculcated today becomes a habit

tomorrow” Keeping this thought in mind, the students took part in the planting of a lemon
tree sapling in the school premises at Reliance Foundation School. They were told about the

importance of interacting with the plants and its good effects on the latter. They sang a song
around the plant. They christened the plant as “One’s Lemons”.

The students of class 3 conducted a cleanliness drive. Under the guidance of their teachers,

the students took the initiative of cleaning the school premises and resolved to take up this
      initiative on a regular basis.

The students of class 5 participated in a letter writing activity on the theme “Clean Indian,

Green Indian” to spread awareness about the importance and need for a clean environment.
