I have a friend and his name is Time
If you would ask me to describe him in a word
Characterizing him as MERCURIAL would be pertinent
He has written a book titled “LIFE”
On opening the cover, you discover
The adventure begins right here
The high spot about this book is that each of us is a part of it
Dependent on one another unknowingly
As you flip through the pages , the story unravels
Void pages hold the future unaware of what happens next
As one chapter ends, another begins
each different and unique
A few bring tears in our eyes, a few bring cheesy smile on our face
A few uncommon, a few marvelous
And a few guides us to take unprecedented measures
But a hope and a desire to live
Gives us the courage to endeavor through these chapters
Regardless of the fear
Of what steps are to be taken
Life is a book, full of surprises
Which you shall uncover
With each new page you unroll
