Farm Day
Children of class LKG celebrated “Farm Day’ on
Friday 30 September 2019. They came dressed as
different farm animals. They took part in different
activities where they spoke about the animal they
were dressed as, and enacted them by mimicking
their sounds and imitating them. They also sang
songs and recited rhymes related to the animal. A
farm setup was made in the LKG activity room. To
develop thinking skills, children decoded the
coding path and reached the house of specific farm
animals. It was a fun activity. To encourage free
play and develop the technique of play pedagogy,
teachers gave them a farm model to play with.
