On 23 December 2021, Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane
celebrated Christmas in a virtual assembly. The assembly began with
a prayer and a recorded rendition of the traditional carol "Hark! The
Herald Angels Sing." Students from different classes participated in a
variety of pre-recorded performances, including a skit depicting the
nativity scene, a choir singing Christmas songs, and a dance
performance to the popular carol "Jingle Bells."
To add to the festive atmosphere, students were encouraged to
decorate their own virtual background or their home with Christmas
decorations like stars, bells, and Christmas tree. The students were
also given the chance to participate in an online art competition
where they created their own ornaments and decorations. The
assembly also featured a pre-recorded speech by the Principal, Mr
Alok Katdare, highlighting the true meaning of Christmas and its
significance as a celebration of love and compassion. The virtual
assembly aimed to instill the spirit of Christmas among the students
and promote the values of love, compassion and kindness.
