Maharashtra and Odisha have been paired in the Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat programme and the states

have so much in common. From certain similar words, food habits and music, Maharashtra and Odisha
have various other things in common which adds to the cultural diversities between these two states
leading to a perfect example of Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat.

At RFS Koparkhairane, certain activities were carried out to promote a sustained and structured
cultural connect in the areas of culture, traditions & music, cuisine, sports etc. As a part of "Ek Bharat
Shreshtha Bharat", a documentary on discovering Odisha was shown to the students which showcased
Odisha as "India’s Best Kept Secret". Students viewed the famous ancient temples, Buddhist sites,

heritage palaces, stunning beaches, nature and ecotourism, wildlife biodiversity, and delectable cuisine
of Odisha.

An assembly and a Talk Time activity was conducted on the topic by the students to experience the

true essence of unity and diversity of our great nation.
