Nations 2019
Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane proudly held the third edition of the Model
United Nations Conference on 31 August 2019. This conference instituted to educate
students about public speaking, debate, diplomacy, problem-solving, persuasive writing,
and teamwork. Nearly eighty students from classes 8 to 12 participated in this co-scholastic
activity as delegates representing various countries in three different committees namely
The Historical Council, The Human Rights Council and the Social, Cultural and
Humanitarian Committee.
The conference officially started with the opening ceremony, hosted by Ashvin Nair, the
appointed Secretary General for the conference. He declared the conference open and also
introduced the various committees and the Chair persons heading them. The opening
ceremony was attended by the Head of Admin, Mr Radhakrishnan and Vice Principal, Ms
Shalini Garg and Headmistress, Ms Kusha Sharma.
