Albert Einstein once said, 'Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is
experience. You need experience to gain wisdom.'

Being on the editorial team for the school magazine has been one of the extraordinary
experiences of my life. It provided me with an opportunity to go through the students'
creativity. Selecting a few articles from the hundreds of best ones, was the most challenging job.
Beautiful poems written by the young students made me so happy. The editorial team had
bright students who were full of innovative ideas for the magazine. It had been a joyous ride
with the team members. I thank my teachers for letting me have this wonderful experience.

It was once very rightly said, “The gladdest moment in human life is a departure into unknown
lands”, and the opportunity to be a part of the editorial board of the school magazine took me
to many such dimensions, right from youngest of the budding writers to some mature minds, the
magazine gave me a different outlook towards life, the theme, “life is beautiful” was explored
deep into by all the students and sifting through such splendid collection of articles was a
challenge in itself and obviously my fellow editors, a wonderful group of creative brains, having
a chance to work with them was an experience worth having. Overall being an editor for the
magazine was a great pleasure, and I am thankful for having this opportunity.

There is nothing but gratitude for everyone that put their grain and salt to make this magazine
what it has become. From the hundreds of budding writers that put their pen to paper to express
how life is truly beautiful to them, to the editors who made sure that every detail went
according to plan. The editing of writeups and poems opened new direction of thoughts and to
know that these thoughts will make the future puts me at ease. It was a wonderful experience,
although challenging to select the best write ups and poems as they were beautiful in their own
way. I hope you enjoy reading each piece in the magazine as much as I enjoyed them.
