Colour Days Cooking without fire

To encourage the healthy eating habit in them Cooking Without Fire Activity was held on 26
November 2020 for the Pre-Primary Students in the virtual classroom where the little ones showed
off their culinary skills. They gathered hands-on experience of fireless cooking. Little hands
enthusiastically cut fruits, vegetables, mixed the salads and prepared various dishes. They relished
the mouth-watering dishes garnished with the special ingredients of love and learning. The event
not only provided a platform for the children to foster their creativity and decision-making skills
but also helped them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest.

Crazy Hair Day

The theme Community Helper teaches the students about all the people who live
and work in their neighbourhood. These people make life comfortable and safe.
In December, children were familiarised with the hairdresser who helps in
maintaining and styling our hair by using different tools, creams, shampoos and
conditioners. A roleplay was performed by the teachers. Teachers were dressed up
as hairdressers and carried all the tools used by hairdresser like hairdryers,
straighteners, bottles of shampoo, conditioners, serums and oils, different hair
accessories like fancy hairclips and rubber bands. They explained how to take
care of hair and make different hair styles. Children enjoyed the roleplay and were
able to relate with their life when they visit their favourite salon for haircut. The
students attended the virtual class in different crazy hair styles, some were very
creative and spotted their hair like a spider web, coke flowing from the coke bottle
in the glass attached to the hairband etc. And they spoke about their hair styles
and how they were done using different tools and hair accessories. Children were
very enthusiastic as they observed different hair styles done by their friends. It was
a great day full of enjoyment.
