Student Council

The School is committed to chiselling the students into ideal, sensible and fair citizens of the nation. We believe that leadership skills can be taught and developed. The School takes every opportunity to give the students sufficient exposure, both inside and outside the classroom to explore leadership qualities to the best of their potentials.

The RFS Student Council consists of Head Boy, Head Girl, Head Volunteer Discipline and Programme, Club Secretaries, House Captains, Class Monitors, Spoken English Leaders and Subject Monitors. All School Leaders, including the members of the Student Council are given an opportunity to develop leadership traits based on

6 principles of leadership:

  • Principle of Caring & Sharing
  • Principle of Planning/Organising/Supervising
  • Principle of Flexibility
  • Principle of Dynamism
  • Principle of Competency & Commitment
  • Principle of Responsibility

The Student Council works closely with the School Heads to provide logistical assistance to the School Administration in conducting School events and keeping the respective Houses informed about all inter-house activities.

RFS organises LEADERS MEET every month for the newly selected leaders and motivates them to become successful leaders.
