The Texture Day was a fun and educational experience for the pre-primary students, as they explored
the sense of touch and learned about textures. The activity was held as part of the General Awareness
topic on textures and was conducted entirely online. The students got a chance to see and feel various
textures, allowing them to engage in a hands-on learning experience. Touch and texture play an
important role in a child's development, as activities like gripping, holding, and manipulating objects
help to strengthen motor skills and improve hand-eye coordination. The students participated
wholeheartedly and thoroughly enjoyed the interactive and immersive experience of the Texture Day.
The jungle safari served as an educational tool to teach
the children about their senses as part of the "My Body"
theme. Through hands-on activities and teacher
demonstrations, the students were able to experience
and learn about the five senses in a fun and engaging
way. They were thrilled to hear different sounds, feel
different textures, and see various visual aids. The
jungle safari proved to be a successful and enjoyable
method for teaching the kids about their senses. As part
of the jungle safari experience, the children wore headgear resembling different animals. This added an
extra layer of excitement and immersion for the kids as they learned about their senses through
hands-on activities and teacher demonstrations. The animal headgear enhanced the overall fun and
interactive atmosphere of the sensory educational experience.
