The school celebrated a range of festivals and events throughout the year to foster national integration,
international understanding, and cultural awareness. National festivals such as Independence Day and
Republic Day were celebrated with patriotic songs and dances. School celebrations, such as the
Graduation Day and the Annual Cultural Feast, were held with great pomp and show. Religious
festivals like Eid, Diwali, and Christmas were celebrated with respect to the religious sentiments of the
students. Other celebrations, such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Friendship Day, were held to
understand the importance of bonding and sharing joy.
Co-curricular and extracurricular activities, such as PE and Music, were also an integral part of the
school life and helped in strengthening the students' classroom learning and developing their
personalities. PE sessions were conducted regularly to ensure that students got a chance to engage in
physical activities and develop their motor skills and physical fitness. The sessions were structured to
cater to the students' needs and interests and were designed to be both fun and challenging. Music
classes, on the other hand, provided students with an opportunity to learn and appreciate music in a
structured setting. By participating in music classes, students were able to develop their creativity,
develop their ears for music, and also learn to express themselves through music. A Covid Awareness
Week was also celebrated to ensure the safety of the children with a focus on hand washing,
mask-wearing, social distancing, and respiratory etiquette.
In conclusion, despite facing challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic, the school had a successful

holistic approach to education, with a curriculum that combines academic, physical, and emotional
development. In the 2021-2022 academic year, the school continued to strive towards its main
objective of achieving holistic student development through an excellent academic and physical
environment that promoted learning, creativity, and exploration.
Throughout the year, the school offered an integrated education that was characterised by close and
careful monitoring of each child's development where the child's natural curiosity and spontaneity were
given centre stage. The virtual school created creative spaces that allowed for exploration and
discovery, activating the child's imagination through various activities. The teachers celebrated the joy
of growing and developing each child's unique abilities and talents.
The year was based on the following principles and abilities: self-esteem development through daily
circle time and monthly assemblies, good personal habits and social skills through Montessori activities,
social abilities to promote positive interpersonal relationships through virtual festival celebrations,
language development through pre-writing and pre-reading skills, motor skills development through
gross and fine motor activities, artistic expression through art and craft classes, emotional intelligence
development through life skill lessons, and technology integration through digital worksheets and
virtual field trips.
