Once upon a time, there lived a boy named Rohan. He lived like a prince as his family

him and emptying their pockets to buy his toys. A few children who could not afford the
toys were standing quietly with longing eyes. The boy saw this and beckoned to these
children and happily gave away his toys to them, although he would suffer a loss. Rohan
was amazed to see this and approached the boy and said, “Hello! I am Rohan, sorry to
interrupt but, your clothes are torn, nothing on your feet and yet you are happily giving
your toys despite the loss you would incur?” The boy was pleasantly surprised and had a
hearty laugh. He replied, “Nice to meet you as well, my name is Sameer. To answer your
question, although I am poor, I have learned that life is precious. We live only once. It is
filled with ups and downs that make us stronger and helps to value life. I always smile
and try to make everyone happy because who knows, one day fate may change when we
do everything with compassion and happiness.” Rohan was awestruck by what he heard.
Rohan had never appreciated anything in his life and after hearing what Sameer said,
Rohan started viewing his life with a fresh pair of eyes. Rohan had learned his lesson and
became friends with Sameer. Rohan started helping Sameer financially as well and his
parents sponsored his education too. Both grew up and succeeded in life! So always
remember, life is precious do not waste it!
