RFS shuttler Vaibhav Tewari of Class IX received the Mayor Cup by securing 1st Position in 'Navi Mumbai Mayor Cup Badminton Competition' in the Under-16 Boys' Category, organized by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation. He also won a Cash Award of Rs. 6000.. The competition was held at Navi Mumbai Sports Association, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
Vaibhav has won the Mayor Cup for two consecutive years.

RFS athlete Aryan Landge of Class XI represented Maharashtra State in the 1st Khelo India School Games organized by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports in Delhi. He participated in the 4 x 400 meters relay race and won Bronze Medal.
