Aviral Singh Rawat of class 11 won at the Regional Level in Global Economics Olympiad conducted by The International Institute of Financial Markets (IIFM) and is awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1500/-
The International Institute of Financial Markets (IIFM), is a pioneer institute in the field of financial market education, certifications, mentoring programs, training and development workshops. It conducts International Finance Olympiad (IFO), Global Economics Olympiad (GEO) and Global Olympiad on Aptitude (GOA) every year. GEO, spread across 3 rounds of competition, is an attempt to encourage students of classes 9 to 12 to understand the concepts of economics at a young age to compete at an International level.
Neil Agrawal and Nagappan N placed among the top 100 students in Pune region in the Final Round of Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2024 organised by CBSE.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge to assess the ability of the students in real-time application of Mathematics. The exam is conducted in two stages - stage 1 and 2 and those who clear both these stages are eligible for the reward. Top 100 students from each CBSE region are awarded with a Merit Certificate.
Two students of Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai brought laurels to the school by winning prizes in the All India School Contest 2024 conducted by Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment (ICPE).
Samarth Chavan of class 3 secured the First Position in Poster Making in Primary Category at the National Level. He was mentored by Ms Leena Kawale.
Zidaan Siddiqui of class 4 secured the Second Position in Primary Category in the West Zone in Painting Competition, in the mentorship of Mr Suraj Nagwanshi. This is a remarkable achievement, as Zidaan has consistently secured positions in this competition for three consecutive years.
The Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment (ICPE), set up on the recommendations of a Task Force constituted by The Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF), is a body registered under Society Act on January 27, 1999. It is a nodal agency recognized by the Government of India to handle all issues related to Plastics and Environment in the country.
Two project prototypes titled Aquamen (RainScape Hydro-Panel) by Sambhav Saxena, Arush Gupta and Darsh Radharam of class 11 and Solar Dryer by Chhavi Thakur, Mishti Saxena and Anvi Alandkar of class 9 selected among the top 500 projects at the National Level in the Youth Ideathon 2024.
Youth Ideathon 2024, organised by ThinkStartup in collaboration with CBSE and MEPSC (Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skill Council) under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship is India's largest festival of innovation and entrepreneurship for schools.
Out of the 38 projects submitted for Design Championship 2024, 6 got selected for Jury Round at the Regional Level and 5 of them secured remarkable positions at the National and Zonal level.

Himani Upadhyaya of class 11 has etched her name in the list of National Winners in the 1st Expression Series for 2024 organised by Central Board of Secondary Education. Himani's painting on the Topic -"Culture as the unifying force for the modern world" is featured among the 24 entries selected at the National Level in the senior secondary category.
CBSE organised its 1st Expression Series for the academic session 2024-25 on the theme NEP 2020 - A Vision for Developed India. Expression series, initiated in the year 2014, encourages students to express their ideas on various topics through essays, poetry, drawings, paintings, and other creative formats. It aims to promote creativity, critical thinking, and the expression of ideas in young learners across India. The final winners are selected from four class categories, i.e. classes 1 to 5, classes 6 to 8, classes 9 and 10 and classes 11 and 12. Winning entries are compiled in an E-book.

Navishka Roy and Sia Shukla of Class 9, have achieved remarkable success in the prestigious CSIR Jigyasa EPIC Hackathon 2024. Out of the six projects submitted by our school, the project titled "BreezEcho" prepared by Navishka Roy and Sia Shukla, developed under the theme "Clean and Green Energy" in the Junior Category has been placed among the Top 42 projects. They worked under the guidance of our teachers, Ms Vineeta Gupta and Ms Dipti Bwade, to accomplish this feat.
Navishka and Sia are now eligible for a two-month Summer Internship at CSIR Laboratory. During this internship, the CSIR will assign a mentor and allocate a CSIR laboratory for the students, where they will receive guidance on their proposal, which will be reviewed and developed suitably.
The new initiative, "Empowering Pupil Innovation and Creativity (EPIC)," launched by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) under its flagship CSIR-JIGYASA outreach programme, aims to inculcate a culture of inquisitiveness, innovation, and scientific temper among school students. It also seeks to nurture their potential in developing innovative solutions to address the challenges in the country through Science and Technology.
Kiara Mittal of class 6 made the school proud by bagging the Most Enthusiastic Speaker Award in the Largest Sustainability Frankenstein Debate 2024. The event was organised by the Indian Debating League in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Debating Society, Delhi.
She also won the Best Speaker Prize in the Middle WSDC Category at the Mumbai Speech and Debate League 2024, organised by Indian Debating League and IIT Bombay.

Ms Leeza Sayed of class 7 has been awarded with a cash prize of ₹ 10,000 in the first round of the INSPIRE MANAK Awards. Her innovative idea of designing "Dewumen" - Dishwasher cum exercise machine for all, won appreciation and has been selected for competing in the final round of the competition.
Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) scheme is one of the flagship programmes of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. The INSPIRE Awards - MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), being executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation - India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST, aims to motivate students studying in classes 6 to 10 across the country. The objective of the scheme is to target one million original ideas/innovations rooted in science and societal applications to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among school children.

ATL Space Challenge 2021 was launched on 6th September 2021 by Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog in collaboration with ISRO and CBSE as part of the nation-wide celebration of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav", an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture, and achievements. The ATL Space Challenge witnessed over 2500 submissions from both ATL and Non-ATL students across the country from which 75 top innovators were selected.
The project of our students titled Hunting Exoplanets in Space secured the TOP EIGHTH position among the 75 top listings. Their project is a Desktop Application which can be used to:
- predict the existence of an exoplanet near a star using the brightness of the star(Transit method)
- check for predicted values and find out if a star has a planet near it.
The efforts of our students Agnid Bhattacherjee and Chaitanya Manish Obhan of class 12 A for their project on mobile application titled Antarikshyaan MK II on the theme Explore Space were highly appreciated.

The students of RFS were awarded the Certificates of Distinction for their remarkable achievements in the 4th International BRICS MATH Online Competition that was organised by the educational platform DINOLAB.IN from 16 November 2020 to December 2020.- Sagarika Mukherjee, a student of grade 4 was awarded the Certificate of Distinction for scoring among the Top 3% in the world and Top 1% in India.

Secures Third Position in ISEA National Level Competition 2020
Creative genius V. Lahari of grade 7 secured the third position at the state level in ISEA National Level Competition -2020 that was organised by Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India in August 2020. She participated in the essay writing competition in group 1 category. The theme of the competition was Information/Cyber Safety and Security Awareness.

Classical and Classical Singing Competition The budding singers of RFS participated in the
7th Annual SURVYAPI Semi-Classical and Classical Singing Competition that was organised online by
Vishwjyot High School, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai on 19 December 2020 and 22 December 2020. The mellifluous
renditions of the semi-classical and the classical songs by the talented singers in the final round
won the hearts of both the audience and the judges.

The gifted Srinidhi N Lakshmi of class 7 won the consolation prize in the junior category.
- The artist in the making, Sambhav Saxena of class 6, bagged the second position in the 4 th Annual Rangvyapi Drawing Competition on 3 December 2019.
- Science enthusiast Ashvin Nair of class 10 won the first position in the third edition of the Interschool Essay Writing Competition Nurturing Talent for Nobel Laureatism that was organised by Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane, in association with Navi Mumbai Science Foundation (NMSF). His in-depth presentation, excellent public speaking and problem solving skills and ingenuity earned him the coveted prize in the category of Physiology and Medicine.

class 10 was awarded various prizes at the Creativity Conclave (BSK-MUN) that was organised by B K
Birla School, Kalyan.
Sahil Agarwal, Ashvin Nair and Pranav Rao demonstrated their brilliant negotiating and public speaking skills. They clinched the title of the Delegates of High Commendation. Aditya Deshpande with his persuasive speech mesmerised the judges who awarded him the title, the Delegate with Special Mention. The chess team comprising Vaibhav Gala of class 12, Damien Naha and Gautham Ganesan of class 11 and Mayank Gulati of class 10 has qualified for the CBSE Chess Nationals by pulling off an emphatic win in the Under-19 Boys' category in the CBSE South Zone Team Chess Championship 2019. The team garnered 9.5 points according to the Swiss Method and claimed the second position in the ranking cross table. - RFS Chess Enthusiasts Qualify for the Mumbai Divisional Level of the Interschool Chess Competition-2019. Spirited athlete Karthik Vijayapuram of class XII proved his mettle on the field by qualifying for the State Level Championship, by securing Second Position in the 400 metres Hurdle Race in Under-18 Boys' Category in the Thane District Athletics Championship 2019. - Promising Athlete Srijan Thakur Qualifies for High Jump Srijan Thakur of Class XI cleared the qualifying mark of 1.45 mts in High Jump in Under 18 Boys Category to represent Thane District at the State Level Championship.

RFS Football Team emerged as Runners Up in the Under-17 Boys' Category in DSO Inter-school District Football Tournament 2018. - Sara Ganesh of class 6 qualified for DSO Table Tennis Divisional Level Tournament on the basis of Individual Selection Trial Under-14 Girls' Category in the DSO Table Tennis Tournament 2018.

Miss Shifa Momin of class 6 won the prestigious Hindustan Times Scholarship for the year 2017-18. She was awarded with a Trophy, a Certificate of Merit and a Rs 50,000 Scholarship in a grand ceremony held on 23 rd February 2018 at Rangsharda Auditorium, Bandra. She is among the 50 winners who were selected for the Scholarship.
After qualifying a tough two round selection process, Shifa made it to the final 50 students from amongst more than 84,000 applicants from more than 220 schools across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.
Shifa says, "It was an amazing experience and I realised that, if you believe you can, you shall surely deserve it. I want to celebrate this moment by giving a part of it to light up the lives of other girls who deserve it". - RFS Shuttler retains the Mayor Cup

The RFS Science Project titled ' Waste-Not the Waste' under the sub theme ' Waste Management' by Ninad Agrawal and Aaditya Sinha of class 9 bagged second position in the Regional Level CBSE Science Exhibition held at Jaipuriar School, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai from 4 th to 6th January 2018. A total number of 90 schools from CBSE Chennai Region (Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Goa) participated in this Exhibition.
Their project has been selected for participation at the National Level CBSE Science Exhibition to be held in the first week of February 2018.

Our students, Sameeksha Rane and Satya Shreyas made us proud by bagging Gold Medals for their exemplary performance in Homi Bhabha Balvaidyanik Competition organised by Mumbai Science Teachers' Association. Satya Shreyas prepared his action research project on "Mangroves - The Nature's Bank of Animals" to understand the values, functions and attributes of mangrove ecosystems and also to create awareness of the importance of protecting mangrove forests for the final round.
Sameeksha Rane's action research project titled "Glorious Gulmohar" was a study of the ways in which Gulmohar trees are beneficial to mankind, especially to the environment. -

Khyati Mathur and Hunar of Class VIII bagged 3 rd Position in Group A of 'Expressions 2014 - 15', an Inter School Elocution Competition organised by Tilak Group of Schools and Colleges, Nerul on 29 th November 2014. Khyati and Hunar were part of the 'Class VIII - X' group comprising 38 students from 19 participating schools.
Short stories titled "Asli Udaan" by Anvi Chauhan of class 6 and "Radha Ka Sapna" by Palakshi Negi of class 7 (2023-24) have been selected in the category of Hindi Short Story Writing in the prestigious CBSE Budding Authors programme 2023-24. They were mentored by Hindi teacher Ms Shikha Gour and HOD Hindi Department Ms Sangeeta Negi. These short stories will be published along with all the winning entries as e-book on the CBSE Academic Website. Anvi's short story secured a place in the 20 entries selected under the category of classes 5 - 6. Similarly, Palakshi's short story is among the 20 selected from the category of classes 7-8.
CBSE Budding Authors programme aims to ignite the creative spark within students by encouraging them to explore the art of storytelling. Students from classes 5 to 10 can participate by submitting their short stories in Hindi or English.

This prestigious competition comprised three rigorous rounds: Written Test, Practical assessments, and a final round featuring personal interviews. Akshita and Nagappan showcased their prowess by presenting their projects titled "Periwinkle and Tulsi: Nature's Tiny Bioindicators" and "Nature Clues: Algae as Bio Indicators of Water Quality" respectively on the theme of Bioindicators.
Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition is conducted by Greater Bombay Science Teachers' Association (GBSTA) since 1981 to encourage students to take interest in science, to inculcate scientific attitude and to search science talent in students. The competition is conducted for the students studying in classes VI and IX.

Kiara Mittal of class 5 secured First Position at the National Level in Ignited Minds Olympiad 2023-24 on Futuristic Science & Technology. She bagged an incredible opportunity of an all-expenses-paid visit to the Natural History Museum, London and a lifetime opportunity to interact with eminent scientists, researchers, and academicians of the nation. The competition was organised by Homi Lab in association with Kalam Center, Principal Scientific Advisor to Govt. of India and MANTHAN (a platform for Ideas and Implementation through Science Technologies and Innovation by Govt. of India). Homi Lab is a pioneering initiative that has set out to create the next generation of explorers and innovators who will lead humanity into the future.
After successfully demonstrating excellence in Round 1: Brain Marathon and Round 2: Future Scavenger Hunt, Kiara was interviewed by top Scientists, Academicians and Researchers for the Final Interview Round- Curious Conversation. She has been awarded 1st prize amongst all - 8 to 18 year old students who participated in the competition. She is currently being mentored and guided for the ongoing - Kalam Asteroid Search Campaign. Through this campaign, learners make confirmed discoveries of Main Belt Asteroids and important observations that contribute to the NASA Near-Earth Object (NEO) Program at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (Pasadena, CA). She will also receive certificates from NASA for her preliminary discoveries of asteroids after the campaign.
Ignited Minds Olympiad on Futuristic Science & Technology is a unique opportunity for curious young minds to discover the future of humankind. This innovative competition is conducted for the students aged between 8 to 18 years and is held at three challenging levels. It aims to foster creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of the challenges and solutions related to sustainable development goals. This year more than 30,000 students participated across the globe.
Akshita Agrawal of class 9 secured First Rank in Maharashtra State in the National Assessment for Scientific Temperament & Aptitude - NASTA 2023. She has received a Gold State Award and Certificate of State Excellence along with a scholarship for this remarkable performance at the state level.
The National Assessment for Scientific Temperament & Aptitude - NASTA 2023 was conducted in the month December in the school by Knowledge and Awareness Mapping Platform (KAMP) for the students of classes 5 to 12. It is an Initiative of CSIR - National Institute of Science and Technology and Development Studies (NISTADS). It is an International Intellect E-based assessment platform to evaluate cognizance of 21st century skills, awareness and knowledge of Science, Technology & Humanities among students.
Neil Agrawal of class 9 placed among the top 100 students in Pune region in the second round of Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge 2023 organised by CBSE. He has received a Merit Certificate by the CBSE Board.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge to assess the ability of the students in real-time application of Mathematics. The exam is conducted in two stages - stage 1 and 2 and those who clear both these stages are eligible for the award. Top 100 students from each CBSE region are awarded with a Merit Certificate.
Anvi Chauhan of class 6 bagged the Second Prize in Junior Category for her Marathi essay in essay writing competition "Akanksha Ki Udaan" organised by Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) in alliance with Navi Mumbai Citizen's Foundation.
"Akanksha Ki Udaan" conclave was conducted to engage relevant stakeholders / community for exploring 'Opportunities in Start-up business & Employment through Skill Building' just before the launch of the Grand New Greenfield 'International Airport' at Navi Mumbai. The conclave also gave this opportunity to students to soar high with words and colours through an Essay Writing and Drawing Competition. The competition was conducted in order to stimulate student's thinking and collect novel ideas for their Dream Airport. The winners of the competition were felicitated at the conclave in the presence of eminent personalities.

Orja is an interschool competition under the initiative of Evergreen Science Carnival and Research Exposition by the Shreerang Education Society, Thane in association with Marathi Vigyan Parishad. This year the competition was held from 1 February 2024 to 4 February 2024 and saw a large number of participants from various schools.
Students of Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane brought laurels to the school by winning prizes in the All India School Contest conducted by Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment (ICPE).
Maysha Zutshi of class 4 bagged the First Prize and Akshansh Sonit of class 1 won the Second Prize at the National Level in Painting Competition.
Zidaan Aqeel Siddiqui of class 3, secured the First Position and Jiaana Dugad of class 3 bagged the Third Position in West Zone in Painting Competition.
All four of them under the mentorship of our art teacher Mr Suraj Nagwanshi, represented the school in the junior category (classes 1 to 4) and submitted their paintings on the theme: Plastics- A Wonder material. The school also made it to the Eighth position in the category of Top 10 Schools. All winners received trophies, certificates and gifts in the felicitation ceremony conducted on 13 January 2024 at Campion School, Fort, Mumbai.
The Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment (ICPE) set up on the recommendation of a Task Force constituted by The Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF), is a body registered under Society Act on January 27, 1999. It is a nodal agency recognized by the Government of India to handle all issues related to Plastics and Environment in the country.
"Chemsim - Gateway to the World of Chemistry," a project by Sarvaarth Narang and Nitayanta Srinivas from Class 11, which earlier emerged victorious at the CBSE Science Exhibition 2022-2023 was showcased at the 50th Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani hosted by NCERT from 26 to 31 December, 2023. This project was one among the 11 shortlisted for participation in RBVP, Pune!
Sarvaarth Narang, guided by Ms. Sunita Arora, presented the project, engaging numerous visitors during the exhibition's five-day span at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune.
The recorded presentation of "Chemsim" will soon be available on the NCERT website. Only three projects per sub-theme under the main theme of "Technology and Toys" were chosen for this video-recording, further emphasising our accomplishment.

Three projects submitted by our students for INSPIRE AWARD - MANAK have been selected for research grant for year 2023-24 by Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. All three projects will get a research funding of Rs. 10,000 each. The school submitted five projects and the following three have been selected.
Shakthi Kalyani Ramanathan of Class 11 has achieved a remarkable feat. Her project proposal titled Eco-Friendly Anti-Inflammatory Tampon is selected by the Jury Committee for the prestigious PRAYAAS 2023 (Promotion of Research Attitude among Young and Aspiring Students) scheme organised by NCERT. This project has been chosen in the category of Urban Private Schools, earning Shakthi a well-deserved Research Grant of Rs 50,000. It's worth noting the diligent efforts and dedication Shakthi has put into this project under the guidance of Dr Usha Gangavarapu and Dr Seema Lathkar.
A total 75 projects across India were shortlisted for an online interaction with Jury Committee. From these 75 projects, only 20 projects have been selected for the research grant under 4 categories - (i) Rural Government Schools (ii) Rural Private and Aided Schools (iii) Urban Government Schools and (iv) Urban Private Schools.
This accomplishment is a testament to Shakthi's intellectual curiosity, creativity, and commitment to making a positive impact through her research.
Three of our talented students Kiara Mittal, Ira Chauhan and Aniruddh R Tendulkar performed proficiently in Ei ASSET Talent Search Examination. Ei ASSET (Educational Initiatives Assessment of Scholastic Skills through Educational Testing) is a skill-based assessment that evaluates students' conceptual understanding and pinpoints their academic strengths and areas for improvement.

The International Institute of Financial Markets (IIFM), is a pioneer institute in the field of financial market education, certifications, mentoring programs, training and development workshops. It conducts International Finance Olympiad (IFO), Global Economics Olympiad (GEO) and Global Olympiad on Aptitude (GOA) every year. GEO, spread across 3 rounds of competition, is an attempt to encourage students of classes 9 to 12 to understand the concepts of economics at a young age to compete at an International level.

The project titled Doers and Fliers, developed by Team PlayPals, represented by Jasleen Kaur, Chinmayee Solanki and Heena Kunwar of Class 12, which was submitted for Youth Ideathon 2023 excelled in the final round securing a place in the top 10 projects. It has received an Incubation Grant of Rs 1 Lac to prepare a working model. The team also won a cash award of Rs 10,000 for students and Rs 5000 for mentor teacher Ms Sunita Arora. The project - Doers and Fliers is a desktop-based application developed using Python as front end and google firebase as back end. It comprises 4 interactive games and aims at aiding learning progress of slow learners in the primary classes through various Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and game based interactive techniques.
The project was placed among the Top 100 Teams and qualified for the top 25 teams at the National Level of Youth Ideathon 2023. The team PlayPals was invited for the Grand Finale on 19 November 2023 at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi).
Youth Ideathon 2023, organised by ThinkStartup in collaboration with CBSE and MEPSC (Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skill Council) under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship is India's largest festival of innovation and entrepreneurship for schools. This year, it witnessed the participation of more than 1.5 Lac students from across India and abroad.

The fourth edition of HCL Jigsaw witnessed more than 5000 participants hailing from 213 cities across 27 states and union territories of India. 29 students of RFSKK from classes 6 to 9 participated in the event. Akshita Agrawal, after successfully qualifying through three rounds was shortlisted for the Final Round and was adjudged First Runners-up. Akshita created a mobile application titled 'Safe Safar' around the problem statement - Improve and Promote Traffic Awareness. The mobile application 'Safe Safar' aims to reduce inconveniences faced by drivers in urban cities by bridging any information gap that may exist between the government officials and the drivers. Through this App, drivers can communicate with government officials and vice versa on various issues related to road construction, traffic congestion, etc.

ICT 360 conducted an All-India Design and Coding Championship 2023 for students of classes 1 to 12. 22 students from our school submitted a total of 17 projects in the categories of Graphic Design, Coding, Game Development, Movie Making, App Design and Web Design.
Out of these 17 projects, 12 projects by 17 students were selected for the Jury Round at Regional Level and 3 of these projects brought laurels to the school.
Samarth Chavan of Class 2, is declared as the Winner at the National level in the Category of Graphics Design for his project under the theme of Pioneers of Progress at the Junior Level. Hemang Garg of class 3 in the category Graphics Design is declared Runners-up at the Regional Level for his project under the them Pioneers of Progress in Junior Level. A team consisting of Ishaan Bhatta and Pari Kulkarni of Class 12 in the category Coding are declared Runners-up at the Regional Level for their project under the theme Empowering Quotes Bot at Senior Level. Design Championship (DC) is India's Biggest National Design Championship organized by ICT 360. This provides a platform for school students to showcase their creativity and talent in digital avenues. Students' projects were evaluated by an online jury comprising industry experts and eminent personalities from the education fraternity.
Vidit Agarwal of class 8 and Arshia Singh of class 9, delegates of UNSC and WHO respectively, won the first prize. Palaksha Krishnani, class 9, a delegate of WHO won the second prize, in the Interschool Model United Nations (MUN) Conference, organised by Nalanda Public School, Mulund.
Six delegates from our school participated in three committees - United Nations Security Council (UNSC), World Health Organization (WHO), and Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC). The conference included seven different committees and saw participation from twelve different schools from across Mumbai.
These young delegates showcased their in-depth understanding of global issues and diplomatic acumen, demonstrated hard work and dedication in securing significant positions in the committees they represented. The book titled ' A Tale of a Few Miles' written by Mysha Zutshi of class 4 made it to the 56th national rank along with winning The Jury’s Certificate of Excellence. Rudrakshi Bhaskar of class 7 was also awarded with The Jury's Certificate of Excellence for her book 'Andrila'.

RFSKK students brought laurels in the RFS Inter School Athletics Championship 2023-24. Tanishka Singh of class 6, has been selected for the INSPIRE Awards -MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge 2022-23). Her innovative project "Aplitic Mask" has cleared the first stage of the District Level Exhibition & Project Competitions (DLEPCs) which is being organised by the District Education Authority. She received a cash award of Rs. 10000/- to develop this model for further presentations.
The idea on creating skin-friendly and medicinal value masks was developed by Tanishka under the expert guidance of Dr Seema Lathkar, Ms Pratiksha Rajadhyaksha and Ms Bhumika Bhowmick.
The INSPIRE Award - MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation - India (NIF) aims to motivate students of classes 6 to 10. The objective of the scheme is to target one million original ideas/innovations rooted in science and societal applications to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among school children.
Sarvaarth Narang and Nitayanta Srinivas of class 11 have made the school proud by winning among the top two projects under the main theme of "Technology and Toys" at the CBSE National Science Exhibition 2022-23. Their innovative project "CHEMSIM, Gateway to the World of Chemistry", which showcases the fusion of technology and toys in the world of chemistry, was adjudged the winner. They also won a cash prize of Rs 5000.
Under the expert guidance of Ms Sunita Arora, Ms Pratiksha Rajadhyaksha and Ms Anju Pental, our students developed a cutting-edge mobile application for performing chemistry practicals virtually.
The project won recognition for its creativity and originality at the Regional Level CBSE Science Exhibition, and it went on to win at the national level after being selected as the best among 42 projects under the sub-theme of "Advancement in Information and Communication Technology".

Students of Reliance Foundation School Koparkhairane, made the school proud by winning accolades in the 4th Interschool Science Carnival titled - Orja 2023, organized by Shreerang Education Society, Thane, held from 20 - 22 January 2023.
Ria Jain of class 9 along with Kasvi Singh, Akshita Agrawal and Panshul Gour of class 8 won First prize in Puppet Show with their creative and collaborative efforts. The theme of the Puppet Show was Earth Science and the team participated in the group of classes 8 to 10.
Neel Jog of class 9 won the First prize for Identification of Scientist in Pehchan Kaun quiz and Anshul Khadke of class 9 bagged the Second prize for Identification of Plants. Both won these individual prizes under the category of classes 8 to 10.
Using their imagination, knowledge and guidance from teachers, these students displayed outstanding performance among many participants from various schools.
Orja is a three-day interschool competition under the initiative of Evergreen Science Carnival and Research Exposition organized by the Shreerang Education Society, Thane, in association with Marathi Vidnyan Parishad (Thane Vibhag) and Thane Mahanagarpalika.
Prisha Thakkar of class 5 has proved her mettle by securing a Silver Medal in CBSE National Level Gymnastics Competition in the U-11 Girls Individual category, held at the Gaudium School, Hyderabad. She also secured 11 th rank in the All-India Ranking among a total of 150 participants who participated in her category.

The second edition of Interschool Model United Nations was hosted virtually by RFSKK. Having a participation of 85 students of six Reliance Foundation Schools from Surat, Nagothane, Mouda, Jamnagar, Lodhivali and Koparkhairne, students of RFSKK shined by winning accolades and awards.
RFSKK's team having Aditi Ananth of class 11 and Ishaan Verma of class 9 was announced as the Best Team. Along with this Vanshika Singh of class 12 and Saharsh Adhikari of class 10 were credited with the special mention award. The award for Outstanding Delegate was bagged by Nithyashree Jayaraman of class 10 and Anish Choudhury of class 11.
The Inter school MUN-2022 was organised for two days over the virtual mode with an objective to let the young minds fathom the real-world issues, analyse the probable cause and effect and coming up with reasonable solutions. Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation which enables the participants to learn about international diplomacy, relations, and the role of United Nations. RFSKK MUN-2022, witnessed success in achieving these aims and objectives with enthusiastic participants who researched, discussed and analysed the global political turmoil and conflicts. It benefitted in enhancing, reciprocating, co-operating and problem-solving skills in young minds and presented an opportunity to the young delegates to refine their skill sets to take on global challenges.
Students of Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane brought laurels to the school by winning prizes in the All India School Contest conducted by Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment (ICPE).
Avya Ankur Desai of class 6, under the mentorship of Ms Neha Patil, won the First Prize in the Junior Category (West Zone) and Zidaan Aqeel Siddiqui of class 2, under the mentorship of Mr Suraj Nagvanshi, secured the Third Rank at the National level. Along with this, the school also made it to the ninth position in the category of Top 10 Schools.
The Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment (ICPE) set up on the recommendation of a Task Force constituted by The Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF), is a body registered under Society Act on January 27, 1999. It is a nodal agency recognized by the Government of India to handle all issues related to Plastics and Environment in the country.

Vanshika Singh of class 12 C secured 2 nd position in 50-meter Butterfly for under 17 girls, in DSO organised Navi Mumbai Interschool swimming competition.
Aashman Sood, Aditya Chaudhari of class 8, Rishit Sinha of class 7, Rudraan Roy and Rudrakshh Trivedi of class 6, represented the school in under 14 boys Table Tennis and secured 3 rd position .
In Table Tennis Under 14 girls team represented by Tashi Goil of class 8, Naivya Mishra of class 7 and Avika Kumar of class 6, and Under 17 girls team represented by Riddhi Sinha of class 10, Alankriti Chandola of class 12 and Yaasha Dalal of class 8 made remarkable achievement by winning 2nd position.

PCRA, a registered society set up under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India is committed to raise awareness about the importance of fuel conservation and environmental protection. The Essay writing, Painting, and Quiz competitions were organised with an aim to raise awareness among young bright minds about the conservation of Petroleum products in various fields.
Team "Creative Genius" headed by Sukriti Choudhary along with team members Vyapti Gupta and Mayank Gulati of Class 12, has bagged a prize money of Rs. 25000/-, for their project "Insignia" which was among the best 9 projects selected for the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2022.
Smart India Hackathon 2022 (SIH 2022), a nationwide initiative, provided students a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and mind-set of problem solving. Smart India Hackathon 2022 (SIH 2022) was organised by Ministry of Education, MoE's Innovation Cell Government of India and AICTE for the students of classes 6 to 12.
Reliance Foudation School Koparkhairane had submitted 8 projects under the themes of Smart Education, Biotech, Smart Automation by 8 different teams of students from classes 6 to 12 for this competition in SIH 2022 Junior category. Project "Insignia" was presented under the theme of Smart Education and was selected from the 45 shortlisted projects for the grand finale. The teams were guided by teachers Ms Sunita Arora and Dr Seema Lathkar.

Joanne Alex, a student of class 12 has won the Second Prize in the First JuniorSkills Championship in the Skill category - Digital Photography (Senior Group), organized by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in partnership with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). She has received a Silver Medal, Cash Prize of Rs. 30,000 and a Certificate.
JuniorSkills 2021 is a platform that emphasises practical learning and encourages students to showcase their talent. It gives them the opportunity to be groomed by industry experts in order to be recognised and rewarded for their abilities on a national scale. Top 21 students get an opportunity to travel to the World skills International championship -The Olympic equivalent for skill competition.
Achievements in the National Science Olympiad (NSO) 2021-22 organized by Science Olympiad Foundation:
Master Shashwat Singhal of Class 9A secured FIRST Position in the Hindustan Times Code-a-Thon: Game Development under South Zone (aged 13-14 years). He was awarded with a laptop (i5 with 1TB HD and 8 GB RAM).
The second edition of HT Code-a-thon is India’s largest coding event. In this competition, participants have to code, complete the levels to make the ultimate game and become the HT Code-a-Thon champion

"Reliance Foundation Drishti Art and Essay Competition" is organized annually as a part of "Reliance Foundation Drishti" initiative which is engaged in various cornea transplant drives across the country.

Ms Yogita Marathe, Mr Vaibhav Kadoo and Mr Rahul Deshmukh, Physical Education Teachers, RFSKK were selected for the prestigious "Elite Coaches Squad" and were invited to attend a 4-day virtual workshop for Elite Athletics Coaches organized by Reliance Foundation Youth Sports (RFYS) along with Reliance Foundation Odisha Athletics High Performance Centre. The workshop was held from 2 December to 5 December 2021, with extensive sessions designed to enhance the understanding of the technical aspects of Middle/Long-Distance Running, Hurdles, Sprints, and other track and field events.
The teachers were a part of 30 member squad selected out of 1950 participants who attended a series of weekly webinar sessions spanning over two months (from June 2021 to August 2021) as part of RFYS Athletics Development Series.
Ms. Srinidhi Lakshmi, a student of class 9, RFS, Koparkhairane has made the school proud by winning the Third prize in the Junior category in the 8th Annual Survyapi Classical and Semi Classical Singing Competition organized by Vishwajyot High School, Kharghar from 20 December 2021 to 22 December 2021.
Ms. Sarmishtha Panda, T.G.T. at RFS, won the First prize in the "Other Teacher" category in the same competition.
Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane won the " Top Ten Schools Award" for sending largest number of Entries in the All-India School Contest - 2021, organized by Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment (ICPE), Mumbai from 1 May 2021 to 31 July 2021.
Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane won the SECOND position in the Private School Category in E-Ward, Koparkhairane in the Swachh Survekshan 2021 conducted by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation. The school was awarded a trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs 11,000.
Aditya Deshpande (Class 12) finished in Sixth Place in the Senior Category in the International Cathedral Mathematics Competition 2021, which was organised by the Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai.

The team Fun Academy represented by Prerna Jasti, Soumorup Chakrabarti and Riyansh Sachdev (Class 11 of 2020-21) made the school proud in the Grand Finale of Toycathon 2021. Their innovative project entitled Fun Book was adjudged one of the Best Projects among the 279 Selected Projects in the Grand Finale. The winners received a cash prize of 25,000 rupees.

Aditya Jindal (Class 12) and Ishan Agarwal (Class 10) of our school's debate team were awarded the title of the Best Delegation Research in Voice Your Votes: Multi - Format English Debate in the B. K. Birla Birth Centenary Creativity Conclave - 2021, which was organised by B. K. Birla Public School, Kalyan. Ishan Agarwal also secured the Third Position in the Final Round (Extempore) of Voice Your Votes.

The topic of the competition was Life in a Space Colony - Future of Mankind.
The RFSKK team, comprising teachers and school counsellors, participated in the category of the Department of School Education/ Higher Education and presented their educational kits, board games, puzzles, and manipulatives in the First National Toy Fair 2021. The virtual fair was organised by the Ministry of Textiles in collaboration with the Ministry of Education from 27 February 2021 to 4 March 2021. These edutainment tools, designed by the RFSKK teachers for the 4 to 13 age group, have been an integral part of classroom teaching for the last four years and aim at promoting children's creative exploration, emotional development, social skills, and physical well-being.
The students of RFSKK displayed their imagination and ingenuity by creating innovative projects that earned them the first, second and third positions in the competition on "Integration of CODING with STEAM. The competition, a part of the national conference on "Integration of STEAM in School Education, was organised by NCERT Bhopal from 26 February 2021 to 28 February 2021. The three winning projects, Insignia, Funbook and Solaris Orbitron, presented in the national conference, were developed under the mentorship of Dr Seema Lathkar and Ms Sunita Arora and are based on coding and mathematics.

Three teams, under the mentorship of Ms Sunita Arora and Dr Seema Lathkar, participated in the Toycathon 2021, an inter-ministerial initiative organised by the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell with support from All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Textiles and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

14036 teams across India participated in the competition. The projects prepared by the teams, Creative Genius and Fun Academy, have been selected for the Grand Finale of Toycathon 2021.
Krish Vasa, a student of class 12, has been recommended for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Fellowship. His outstanding performance in the aptitude test earned him an all-India rank of 698.
Pranav Chakravarthy, Annanya Rakesh Pathak, and Krish Vasa have qualified for JEE (Advanced) 2021. Both Pranav Chakravarthy and Krish Vasa obtained 99.36 and 98.92 percentiles percentile in the JEE Main (BE/BTech) 2021, and Annanya Rakesh Pathak secured 99.26 percentile in the JEE Main (BArch) 2021, which was held in February.
Neil Agrawal, Akshita Agrawal, Sohalia Roy Choudhury and Nagappan N of class 6 qualified for the second round in Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidynaik Competition 2020-21, which was organised by the Mumbai Science Teachers' Association. The first round, which was the theory competition, was held on Sunday, 17 January 2021, and the online practical competition (second round) was held on Tuesday, 23 March 2021.
The RFSKK students participated in the 11th International English Olympiad that was organised by Science Olympiad Foundation in collaboration with British Council , on Saturday, 28 November 2020 and Sunday, 29 November 2020 and brought laurels to their alma mater. Devansh Bhavin Sanghavi of grade 11 secured the second position at the district level in Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM), a national level, science talent search examination that was conducted online by Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM), an initiative of Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), in collaboration with Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous organisation under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), an institution under the Ministry of Education. A science enthusiast, Devansh Sanghavi has qualified for the state level camp.
Nikhil Baishkiyar has qualified the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2020. He secured an All India Rank of 1546. An academic high-flyer, Nikhil Baishkiyar has also cleared BITSAT 2020, which was conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
Vyapti Gupta of grade 11, Simrah Fahad Abbasi of grade 3, Paavani Jain of grade 4, Batul Vohara of grade 2 and Aniruddha Chavan of grade 9 were awarded certificates for scoring among the top 10% of the participants in the online quiz competition, which was organised by Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai on 26 September 2020. The theme of the quiz was "Life and Works of Mahatma Gandhi".
Damien Zebulon Naha, a student of grade 12 was awarded the certificate of distinction for scoring among the top 10% in the senior category of the Cathedral Mathematics Competition, which was held on Saturday, 1 August 2020 and Sunday, 2 August 2020. The international online competition was organised by the Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai.
The graceful Shreeya S Angadi of class 6 secured the third position in the Interschool Solo Folk Dance Competition in the junior category. The online competition was organised by Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Boiser, on 5 September 2020. Dressed in a colourful ethnic costume, Shreeya performed the traditional dance Jhumur and enthralled the audience.
Sports Achievements:
The team comprising Yash Goel and Dhruv Patel of class 10 and Nayana Thanvi and Akshita Krishna of class 10 secured the first position in the RFS Interschool Online Sports Quiz 2020 with a remarkable score of 120 points. A total of twelve Reliance Foundation schools across Gujarat and Maharashtra participated in the online sports quiz, which was organised by Reliance Foundation Schools Academic Council on Saturday, 29 August 2020.
