Club Activities

Club Activities help to shape co-curricular areas in a purposeful and organised manner.

Clubs are an opportunity for students to explore their innate talents and build on their individual creative competencies. The significance of club activities is that they help develop attributes and values such as collaboration, imagination, determination, and perseverance.

The School has the following clubs -

Eco Club

The activities of the Eco Club are designed to meet the objectives of environmental education and encourage students to find solutions to environmental issues. The Club organises various activities such as nature walks, collecting leaves and bird feathers, identifying flora and fauna, gardening, field visit, collage making, adoption of eco-friendly material etc. The club also organises various competitions to spread awareness about environment detriments.

Maths & Science Club

The Maths & Science Club creates awareness among peers about various scientific discoveries and their effects on the planet. The Club organises Science model-making activities, math quizzes and field trips to reinforce conceptual learning.

Literary Club

Literary Club aims to enhance language skills and inculcate a love for reading. The Club organises various activities like book review, debates, elocution, extempore, essay writing and Spell Bee to help students develop confidence, interpersonal and communication skills.

Students are also encouraged to write reports of the activities organized in the School to help them observe, organize observations/data and present them in the form of reports.

Health and Sports Club

The Health and Sports Club helps to nurture physical fitness, sportsmanship and team building values in students. Apart from athletics and games, students are trained in Yoga, Drill etc. Sports Meet is organized to help students compete within the school and students with sporting talent are identified and given extra training to prepare them for competitions outside the school.

The Club also organises ‘Talks’ on importance of health, fitness, nutrition and balanced diet, etc.

Art / Cultural / Social Club

The Cultural Club is apt for students with an inclination towards dance, drama, music and art/craft. As members of this Club, students are provided opportunities to discover and develop their talents under the guidance of teachers. These students perform during special assemblies, annual function, events and competitions.
